Violence includes civilians and soldiers being eaten by giant insects. There are blood effects when this happens but the characters respond unrealistically, carrying on uninjured after they have been spat out. When human characters are shot, they either show no physical response or turn completely limp like a ragdoll. Shooting at the giant insects or throwing explosives at them causes a blood effect and often the creatures are blown into pieces. The game also includes use of the words ‘bastard’ and ‘shit’.
