After the flamboyant, god-like King of All Cosmos accomplished his grand task of recreating the stars in the sky, he is astonished to discover that his exploits have earned him a devoted following of fans down on Earth. Flattered and delighted by all the adoration, the King resolves to repay his admirers by granting their many wishes, no matter how strange or grand. To carry out this cheerful mission, he once again enlists the help of his diminutive son, the Prince, along with the Prince's colorful cousins. Standing only a few centimeters tall, these tiny royals roll a magical, sticky ball called a katamari across the world, gathering up everything from pencils and coins to buildings and clouds, growing it ever larger to fulfill each new request their eccentric ruler dreams up.
