Half my LAN group shows up on laptops that could not run a modern shooter if their lives depended on it, so Jackbox is the game I reach for when the hardware is the problem, not the players. Everyone just needs a phone and a browser, which means eight people can play without anyone touching a Joy-Con. Quiplash 2 and Trivia Murder Party are still the standouts in this pack, and both work whether your group is drunk on a Friday or sober at a family dinner. It leans on Jackbox's own servers. If those go down, so does the game. For a room full of non-gamers, though, nothing else onboards this fast.
