Oval racing barely exists as a spectator sport where I live, so NASCAR 25 was my first real exposure to what stock car racing feels like from the driver's seat. Rubbing fenders with someone at 300 kmh while drafting for position is a different skill than anything GT7 or F1 25 asks of you. The draft mechanic rewards patience, hang back, save your tires, commit late, and getting that timing right feels great even without knowing a single real driver's name. Career mode is thorough, ovals and road courses both included. It's a specialist pick. Readers outside North America might bounce off the format, but as a stock-car representation on PS5, nothing else comes close.
