Halo: Campaign Evolved is the easiest shooter to hand to an Xbox newcomer. The campaign is the point, and as someone who always finishes the story before even looking at multiplayer, that is the right order for me. Encounters are big and open, grunts panic, and a firefight is rarely the same twice. It missed the top 10 because DOOM already holds the shooter slot with more bite. Fair enough. If you want a friendlier, more familiar action game on the service, this is it.
