The motion tracker does most of the scaring. You command a squad of colonial marines in real time, pausing to give orders while blips close in from three sides. It is horror from the command chair, and it makes you feel the cost of every bad call, because a dead marine stays dead. I have limited evenings, and this one asks for focus I did not always have. Missions run long and the learning curve is steeper than anything above it. If you want something unlike the usual survival horror, nothing else on Game Pass plays like it.
