I played The Casting of Frank Stone across two evenings after the kids were in bed, the way you would watch a slasher double bill. You pick dialogue lines and run from the killer in a branching story set in the Dead by Daylight universe, and the choices decide who lives. It is easy to pick up, and the opening has real slasher energy. But the writing and performances are uneven, and the choices matter less than the game wants you to believe. That is why it did not crack the top ten. Fine popcorn horror for a weekend.
