Guardian Tales looks and plays like a 16-bit Zelda clone at first glance. I grew up on Super Nintendo adventures, so that's a compliment, not a knock. It has real dungeons, real puzzles, and a genuine sense of humor buried under menus that make it look like a typical mobile import. The free content runs deep before any gacha pressure kicks in, and solo players get a lot without spending anything. The character-pull system is where it turns predatory. Not exactly fair. Still, for pure adventure structure in a free package, it beats most of what's on this list.
