This is the one on this list I'd never have picked up without someone else pointing me to it, and it's the one I finished in a single frantic weekend because I genuinely could not put the controller down. Combat syncs to the beat of the soundtrack without ever feeling like a rhythm game in disguise, and the visual style is bright enough that it looks like nothing else in this list. Runs are short. Levels rarely overstay themselves. It doesn't have the scale of anything else ranked here, and that's exactly why it's a mention rather than a top-10 lock, but it's the most purely joyful thing on this page.
