Kena took me about twelve evenings to finish, which these days basically counts as a perfect length for me, long enough to matter and short enough to actually reach the credits. It plays like a Zelda-sized adventure that never oversells itself: light puzzles, a small hub world, and combat that's simple but satisfying once you unlock the Rot abilities. The art style is somewhere between a Pixar film and a storybook, and it holds up well on PS5 even without the production budget of the games ranked above it. It lacks the scale of the top ten. That's exactly why it sits here instead. For anyone tired of 60-hour open worlds, this is the antidote.
