Story setup
In the late 13th century, the Mongol empire has laid waste to entire nations along their campaign to conquer the East. Tsushima Island is all that stands between mainland Japan and a massive Mongol invasion fleet led by the ruthless and cunning general, Khotun Khan. As the island burns in the wake of the first wave of the Mongol assault, courageous samurai warrior Jin Sakai stands resolute. As one of the last surviving members of his clan, Jin is resolved to do whatever it takes, at any cost, to protect his people and reclaim his home. He must set aside the traditions that have shaped him as a warrior to forge a new path, the path of the Ghost, and wage an unconventional war for the freedom of Tsushima.

Advice for consumers This game has received a PEGI 18 which restricts availability to ADULTS ONLY and is not suitable for persons under 18 years of age. This rating has been given because it features graphic violence. Brief outline of the game Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is an online-only version of 'Ghost of Tsushima', which involves multiple players teaming up to complete quests. Legends consists of ten co-operative story arcs, a survival mode, and a quick play mode. Content specific issues This game contains frequent depictions of graphic violence involving human characters. Violence can result in decapitation and dismemberment, accompanied by strong blood and gore effects. When characters are killed, their bodies remain on the floor. Some characters can be critically injured but not killed. In these instances, they attempt to crawl away from the player to escape. The player can chase after them and kill them, either by stabbing them or by performing an 'execution' move, such as breaking their neck. Other issues This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items, in the form of a full game upgrade, which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
