Fourteen weapon types mean four players can approach every hunt completely differently, and the Iceborne expansion's Master Rank content gives veteran groups a serious endgame to work through together. For groups new to Monster Hunter, World is widely recommended as the better entry point over Rise—the onboarding is more gradual and the quest structure feels more cohesive.
