Outlast: Bundle of Terror packs the original game and its Whistleblower DLC into one purchase, and it's still an effective way to get scared on Switch even after Outlast 2 higher up this list. You have no weapons, only a camcorder with limited battery life, and the whole game is built around the specific panic of realizing you have nowhere left to hide. I ranked Outlast 2 above it because the sequel is the sharper, more ambitious horror game, but the original's asylum setting is tighter and a little meaner in places. Short sessions work well here. The Switch version handles the found-footage night-vision effect without any noticeable performance drop, which is the one thing that could have sunk this port. If you already own Outlast 2, add this mostly for completion's sake rather than urgent need.

Overview
About Outlast: Bundle of Terror
Included in this bundle are:
Outlast:
In the remote mountains of Colorado, horrors wait inside Mount Massive Asylum. A long-abandoned home for the mentally ill, recently re-opened by the “research and charity” branch of the transnational Murkoff Corporation, the asylum has been operating in strict secrecy… until now. Acting on a tip from an anonymous source, independent journalist Miles Upshur breaks into the facility, and what he discovers walks a terrifying line between science and religion, nature and something else entirely.
Whistleblower:
Whistleblower will let you play as Waylon Park, a software engineer under contract with Murkoff and the man who emailed journalists around the world - including Miles - at the beginning of Outlast.
Although Whistleblower tells the story that led to Outlast, it will actually stretch past the events of the first game to show the final chapter in Mount Massive Asylum's story.
