I had never heard of Alisa: Developer's Cut before working on this list, and it turned out to be one of the better surprises in it. It's available on other platforms too, but I tried it first on Switch and was caught off guard by how effective it is. Fixed camera angles, tank controls, and inventory management lean hard into the PS1-era Resident Evil formula, but what stuck with me was the constant low hum of tension, a feeling that something bad is about to happen even in rooms where nothing does. Switch performance holds up well docked and handheld. It's not flashy. It ranks below the more established names here mostly because it's newer and less proven, but if you want a fresh throwback, this earns a look.
