Blanc is the shortest game on this list, and it's the one I'd actually hand my wife first if she wanted to try co-op again after It Takes Two. There's no combat and no fail state, just a wolf cub and a fawn crossing a monochrome landscape, and you need each other to get anywhere. It plays out over a single evening, maybe two, which for a couple with limited free time is honestly a feature rather than a downside. The visuals are stripped-down and almost storybook, all black, white, and grey, with no dialogue at all. It won't hold you for weeks the way a farm sim will. But for one quiet co-op night, it's close to perfect.
