Cricket isn't a sport anyone around me follows. No colleagues talking about a test match on a Monday morning, nothing on Dutch television. I gave Cricket 26 a fair shot anyway, mostly because a sports list that only covers Western team sports felt incomplete. The bowling and batting mechanics take real effort to learn, more than baseball's simpler timing window, and Career mode gives you a genuine reason to stick with it once things click. It's rougher around the edges than the bigger annual franchises on this list, less polish, smaller scope. For cricket fans on Xbox, though, there isn't a stronger current alternative.
