Metal Eden isn't a game most PS5 owners have heard of yet, and it landed on my radar late while I was already deep into this list. It's a fast, flashy sci-fi FPS with a mobility system that rewards aggressive movement over cover-shooting, closer in spirit to older arena shooters than modern military games. I went in expecting a forgettable indie-adjacent shooter and came out wanting to finish the campaign in one sitting, which doesn't happen often anymore. It's short. There isn't much here beyond the campaign, no real multiplayer or long-term hook, so treat it as a weekend shooter. For anyone tired of the same three franchises dominating every PS5 shooter list, it's worth the download.
