Ninjala is built specifically for Switch, and it shows in ways the ported free games on this list don't quite manage. Movement is fast. Combat revolves around a bubble-gum weapon system that sounds ridiculous and mostly is, and matches run in short online bursts that fit a spare twenty minutes. I found the early hours more fun than the systems around them deserve. Cosmetic passes are the spend here, nothing that touches actual competitiveness. It's a niche pick, worth knowing about mainly because so few free games are actually designed around this specific console.
