This is the odd one out on this list, an arcade skateboarding game dropped into a sea of licensed sims, and it earns its spot anyway. The two-minute run structure fits perfectly into the kind of evening I actually have: kids asleep, thirty minutes free, one more combo attempt before bed. Landing a revert into a manual into a lip trick still produces the same dumb grin it did twenty years ago. There's no career mode depth to speak of, no franchise mode, no online seasons ladder, just pure trick chaining and a leaderboard chasing your best score. Bring a friend for split-screen and the runs get genuinely competitive fast. Nothing else on this list is this immediately fun.
