Trine 5 leans hard into painterly fantasy visuals, and given how much I gravitate toward that genre anywhere else, it's a bit of a surprise it doesn't rank higher here. Three character classes with different abilities mean two players can mix and match roles instead of being locked into one job for the whole campaign. The puzzles ask for actual coordination, boosting a partner across a gap, timing a shield at the right moment, without ever punishing a wrong guess harshly. It's calmer than most action co-op and prettier than most puzzle games, a nice combination for an evening in. It just doesn't do anything Unravel Two or It Takes Two haven't already done better for two people specifically.
